Dallas High School moved to its current location from the Academy Building in 1953. In 1997 a school remodel was completed which included the addition of new classrooms, gym, auditorium and forum areas. 75,000 square feet were added for a total of 175,000 square feet of instructional space. The facility has a new orientation and will serve us well into the twenty first century.

Dallas High School has an active Site Council that meets monthly and makes decisions on curriculum and staff development proposals. Community members are encouraged to attend and give input. Site Council and parent meeting dates are posted on the school calendar. Notifications are also mailed home in parent newsletters. The Booster Club meets regularly and sponsors an annual auction to raise and distribute money to our various athletic and activity organizations. Music programs are supported by a very active parent organization; "The Dallas Music Network." Volunteers are always welcome to help with our programs. There is an abundance of ways for parents and community members to be involved in Dallas High programs, and their support contributes to our excellence.
