Kindergarten Registration

 

Dallas School District  kindergarten programs are full-day, starting at 8:00 a.m. and dismissing at 2:10 p.m. daily.  Stop by the Lyle or Oakdale offices between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to pick up a registration packet, or call and we’ll send one home with an older sibling.  Complete registration as soon as possible.  Early registration in April helps us plan for next school year!  Your child's birth certificate and immunization record will need to be provided before the start of school.     

 

Kindergarten Screenings

 

Kindergarten screenings will give parents information about their child's development and learning. The screenings will help schools balance out classrooms based on academic and behavioral needs.  It is ideal if you and your child attend the screening at your neighborhood school.  However, you may attend at either Lyle or Oakdale screenings.
