distinguished educator
I am pleased to share that Bill Fischer was celebrated earlier today as the November Distinguished Educator for Dallas School District. Bill is a teacher at Morrison Campus and has been an educator all of his life. Bill was nominated by Vickie Boer and her family. Vickie is a former educator in Dallas School District and each of her kids attended our schools. Today's celebration was held via Zoom and included Morrison staff members, students, former students, Bill's family, board members and friends. This was a surprise for Bill and he shared (in classic Bill style) how the success of Morrison students is the result of all educators who taught our students along the way. Here are a couple of quotes from his nomination -- "Bill Fischer is a true master educator, mentor and ultimate cheerleader for these young teens who are finding their way." "The heart, compassion, listening and true caring for each individual are what makes Bill and the Morrison team so special. He is a caring listener, is able to help students identify their personal and educational strengths and emulates his warmth and concern for each student."
Please help me in congratulating Bill Fischer as the Distinguished Educator for November!
